I am so excited that it is that time of the year again. No, I am not talking about Christmas…I am talking about holidays in general. September to December is my favorite time of the year. I love fall and everything about it. From the colors to the smell of baking goods and of course the changing leaves. But soon after fall comes…CHRISTMAS!!!
|I had Christmas trees quilted into it with red and green thread.|
This is the first Christmas quilt I have made. I made it out of a layer cake; Joy by Kate Spain for Moda. This “twister method” was actually a class that I took at the beginning of summer but I just got it back from the quilter. It looks more complicated than it actually is. Such a fun and easy quilt to make.
Joy is one of my favorite Christmas lines. But lets not lie, I am in love with most of the Christmas lines this season. I think my favorite part is the back. Its the chevron print from that line and we all know how much I love chevron.
If you love this quilt as much as I do then I have good new for you. There are kits available at Elaine’s and they ship just give them a call.
