I know that I have mentioned it once or twice; but, its HOT!!! Seriously!!! I turned 30 weeks on August 1st, which is typically the hottest month. And last month was the hottest month the state of Utah has had on record. There is a point to my whining. With the combination of the heat and my doctors orders to slow down and take it easy I am not getting a lot done. I realize that I only have 10 weeks left and I have nothing ready for the nursery.
So tonight I decided to work on the quilt. As some of you know who follow me on Facebook I cut this out weeks ago. Yep. I am that far behind. But I got a lot done tonight. I got all the blocks sewn together. Expect 2. And that’s because after I cut it out and started putting the blocks today I didn’t like the way the colors were going together. So i moved some blocks around and ended up being short 2 squares. So I need to go get an 1/8 yard cut. GRRRR. I hate when I am short. And I bought this fabric in May so hopefully I can get some more.
Any way. I am hoping to take this to the quilter next weekend. Then I need to do bumpers, sheets, crib sheet, baskets and decorations. Not too much right. Not to mention the fact that I am repainting a dresser and the crib. Maybe I really am an over achiever.
The line I am using for the nursery is Nested Owls by Adorn It.
