What a crazy month it has been!!! The holidays always seem to make the schedule a lot fuller!
We had so much fun this year as a family for Christmas. It seemed we were always out doing something.
This year me and my husband decided that our kids have enough toys so Santa’s sack was a little lighter when he came down our chimney. And instead we did fun things with them. Like taking them on the North Pole Express.
I got a shelving unit for my sewing studio that my awesome husband set up for me the day after Christmas. I wanted it so I could keep my studio a little more organized. We shall see how long this last. He also gave me a new camera for Christmas. The bulb in my flash went out on my old one this summer so I have been taking all my blog pictures with my cell phone. Which surprisingly takes pretty good pictures.
They did however get a few gifts. The main thing that they got was bikes. And they loved them. The Saturday after Christmas we took them to the church in our neighborhood and let them ride around the parking lot. They had so much FUN!! It was a lot of fun to see them enjoying their gifts.
Every year I make pj’s for the kids. And this year I made them for me and James as well. The boys (husband included) had matching Lighting Mcqueen (Cars) and me and Hailey had the Disney princesses. We had the jammies in a big box with hot chocolate, the book The Polar express and the movie Planes. Santa brought this gift while we were at the grandparents on Christmas eve. So the kids got to open it that night. We all put on our matching pants watched Planes and read The Polar Express. Sadly I didn’t get a picture of us. What was I thinking?!?!?!?!
Christmas was very nice this year. But I am glad it is over. Having a little tiny baby can make Christmas a lot more stressful.
We took them to see Frozen that day as well. It was such a cute Christmas and I highly recommend it!
The winner of the “Winners Choice Layer Cake Giveaway” was Kristin!!! She was notified and emailed me! So congrats to her!
