Last week I shared my Mini Disco Quilt with you, (don’t forget to enter the giveaway). It used the mini Hex ‘n More ruler. Well, this is my quilt that uses the big Hex ‘n More ruler. Isn’t it pretty. Lol.
This is the BOM that was designed by Jaybird Quilts using her Hex ‘n More ruler and its called Toes In The Sand. I used a collection of batiks to make this quilt. I wanted to go with a beach theme with my colors to match the name of the quilt. I used a grunge from Moda for my background. It is white with some sea green tinting.
This BOM was a lot of fun because it was the first BOM that I taught. I was so nervous in that first class but it was a lot of fun.
I love the hex ‘n more ruler. Look at all the fun blocks that you can make. And no Y seams! Hooray! I am planning on quilting this next month. Its actually a wedding gift for a friend who go married a year ago so I really need to get it done.
