I know that some people are sad that Labor has come because its the official end of summer. But I am not. I LOVE fall and to me Labor Day is my “unofficial” start of fall. Fall is great. It means boots, sweaters, cuddling under big quilts and being able to bake. I love to bake. Not as much as I love to quilt. And I really LOVE to bake with pumpkin. So on Monday I decided to start baking. I made pumpkin french toast and pumpkin donuts. I had such an overwhelming response the picture of the donut I made that I decided to share you all some of my fave pumpkin recipes.
First I will start with my pumpkin french toast. This french toast turned out so good. My little Hailey ate 2 pieces. And my husband ate like 6. I found the recipe on $5 dinners.
Next I made the most delicious pumpkin donuts. These are so good. I ate like 4 right after I pulled them out of the oven. Got the recipe from Cooking Classy.
This is my all time fave pumpkin pie. It is not like your traditional pie. It uses sweetened condensed milk as opposed to evaporated milk. It is delicious! I got the recipe from Better Homes & Garden.
Here is a list of different pumpkin cookies recipes that I love. I love pumpkin cookies!
Pumpkin Chocolate Chip
Pumpkin Cheesecake Cookies
Pumpkin Spice Pudding Cookies
Pumpkin Whoopie Pies
And who doesn’t love a good loaf of pumpkin chocolate chip bread!
Now go and bake and enjoy fall!!!
