I had such a BLAST at Pinner’s Conference (Where Pinterest comes to life!) this past weekend!!!!! I don’t even know where to begin. I guess the best part would be at the beginning.
I bought a VIP pass so the night before they had a dance party meet and greet. I had such a blast and I met so many great bloggers. There was the Artsy Fartsy Mama, The Dating Divas, Simply Sadie, Emily Taylor of Riley Blake designs and Pattern Jam, Chelsey Curtis of Housewife 2 Hostess, Becky Higgins of Project life, and so many more!
We had the most delicious cupcakes from One Sweet Slice; who one Cupcake wars. There was an adorable gift wrap station sponsored by Sizzix and Scotch.
Plus I got a pretty sweet swag bag.
On Friday I was involved in so many great classes. And I got another awesome swag bag. Plus as a VIP I could go to the VIP lounge between classes sit down for a minute and have a drink.
The first class I took was taught by Emily Taylor on tips and tricks with triangles for your quilts. But what I loved most about her class was the introduction to her new free pattern design software; Pattern Jam. I can’t wait to share more info about this with you all.
The next class I took was Glitter Ornaments by Artsty Fartsy Mama. I highly recommend you check out her tutorial on how to make these. They are fun and easy. Perfect kid craft.
Next I took a class from a local retailer called the Wood Connection. (They do have an online shop as well!) I made this adorable salt sign. I am not done with it yet. I had an ingenious idea how to finish it up and give it a wow factor. This was a lot of fun to make. I think I am going to give it away as a gift though.
I took a mind blowing class on how to rock your iPhone pics. There are tutorials on the Persnickety Blog that will teach you some tricks to get some great pics from your IPhone.
The last class I took was by Paper Pumpkin (stampin up) I will have more info on this later on this week. But I will leave you this teaser…its awesome and it comes straight to your door every month.
I wasn’t able to attend on Saturday. But all in all Pinner’s Conference was awesome and I can’t wait until next year!!!!
