Christmas has come and gone. This year was a hard Christmas and I am happy it is over.
The whole thing wasn’t terrible though. There was some fun mixed in with the tears.
My brother and his family were in town for Christmas this year. It was so much fun having them here! I don’t get to see my brother that often because he is in the military and constantly deployed. Plus he has lived on the other side of the country (east coast) since 2002. In the past 12 years I have only seen him 6 times. And 3 of those times where in the past 18 months. So we were really excited to have him here.
We had a lot of fun game nights.
We also took the all the kids down town to Temple Square to see all the lights. This was an interesting experience.
Jack hates crowds and he had a hard time being down there. He liked being in the visitors center though, And he loved being on the train. (of course) We made some good memories though. We will try again next year and hopefully it goes better.
As per tradition I made jammies for me, my husband and kids. Since I had zero motivation to do anything I ended up finishing them on the 23rd. Next year one of my goals is to finish my projects in a timely matter and not procrastinate. I really hope I can accomplish this goal this year.
