Ugh! I have had 3 sick kids and a sick husband the last couple weeks. It has been ZERO fun over here. And as you all know when there are sick people in the house your laundry piles tend to double. Gotta love when the kids are puking in bed.
I had so many quilts I needed to wash and I didn’t want to spend all day doing it. So I decided to take my quilts to a laundry matt. The Laundry Lounge to be specific. Best decision of the week! I was able to get them all into one washer. (I had 2 queen size, a twin size and a throw size quilt.) They have 4, 2 and top loading washers. I used the 4 load washer. That cost me less than $5!!!
Then this is where I got really smart. I put one quilt in each dryer and let them go. It took me 30 minutes to get them dry. Yep. Pretty sure I am a genius. That cost me like $5 total.
I really liked the Laundry Lounge. It has to be the cleanest laundry matt I have ever been to. They had toys for Easton to play with and I a TV for me to get my daily dose of Judge Judy in. (Yes, I really watch Judge Judy. The woman makes me laugh.) Even their restrooms were super nice and clean. They use cards instead of coins. Cause really who has bags of quarters just laying around their houses these days.
So for $10 and an hour out of my day I got all my quilts washed. Had I done this at home it would have taken me 4-5 hours and I probably would have had to hang dry the quilts all over my house. Since it snowed last week and I couldn’t hang them outside. definitely a win for this mom!
