We had spring break a little bit ago and it was jam packed with craziness. Since we aren’t going on a vacation this year I wanted to have a fun spring break with the kids. We did start the beginning of the week off spring cleaning and with some trips to Ikea. But after that it was FUN!
We hit up the movies, went to lunch with friends, bike rides and trips to the park. But the kids and the parents all agree that the best part was our trip to Boondocks.
What is Boondocks? Its exciting fun for EVERYONE! It’s an entertainment park with lots of activities. Miniature golf, 3 go kart tracks, bumper boats, laser tag, arcade and more!
The first thing my kids wanted to do when we got there was of course the go karts. Jack was tall enough to drive one all by himself; when he was thrilled about. I was a little worried about it. But he did great! He loved it so much. He tells everyone he meets all about hum driving the go karts and how he crashed. Yeah, he didn’t quite get the break concept and crashed in the pit. But the employees were amazing and told him it was fine. And he even went again.
Their second fave activity was the bumper boats. I think they were having too much fun squirting dad with the skirts guns.
The food we had there was really good. Some of the best pizza I had had in a while. And Jack even ate a cheeseburger. It is one of the few times he has eaten a hamburger!
After dinner we hit up the arcade. We had the Unlimited fun tickets and the kids had the Junior Unlimited tickets. Both of these give you access to almost everything. (depending on availability and height requirements) They also came with tokens for the arcade. Jack won 250 tickets on one game!!! He was stoked. Both the kids got some neat little prices and slept on the way home.
It was such a fun day and the perfect way to end spring break as a family.

I received tickets to Boondocks and a gift card for food in exchange for my post. However, my thoughts and opinions are 100% my own.
