I love getting the kids out the house. Last summer I felt like we were always at home and the boys were always BORED!!!! And in my house when the boys are bored the start bickering. It drives me CRAZY! So this summer I came up with a fun list of things we could do to get us up moving and out of the house. I took them to the Museum of Natural Curiosity because I heard that it was amazing. And it was! It was interactive and educational.
The museum is split up in 4 sections. The first section we went to was the Kidopolis. This kid size city was so much fun!! My kids loved running from room to room and doing the many different activities. Easton’s favorite was the bank. They had a working drive up window thing and they loved sending the money through the pipe. They put on a little puppet show and performed a pirate play on the stage. It was such a FUN place for them to get to use their imagination.
They loved playing outside on the Archimedes Playground. And we ended up walking around outside and exploring. I love getting the kids out in nature and letting them explore. The motion room was a lot of fun for my husband. The kids enjoyed trying to get the lights to light up using the bike petals. Sadly the rainforest area was being cleaned when we went so it was closed. But it looked like a blast.
The last area we went to was the Water Works. This section explored nature and science. Pre warning when you go your kids will leave wet. So take extra clothes. I loved that they had a little toddler table with seats. Hailey loved playing at this water table. It was so gun to watch my kids explore this area. Even my husband was getting in on the fun.
Now for the fun part. The Museum of Natural curiosity is giving away a family 4 pack to one of my lucky readers. Fill in the Rafflecopter below for your chance to win. ***Open to Utah residents only*** (or if you’ll be visiting this summer)
