Once summer hits both me and Katie have to pinch our pennies. And that includes what we do with our children throughout the summer. Between Katie and I, we have 7 kids total. And even cooler, we are next door neighbors. So we get to spend a lot of time together. My kids love to paint, and this canvas art is by far their favorite. We grabbed our 50% off Michael’s coupon and purchased a big pack of canvas’. Katie pulled out her trusty Cricut and each child designed their own art to put on their canvas.
Here us what you need:
Canvas- any size
Foam paint brushes/dobbers
Cricut cut-outs or you can even create with washi tape
Have your child place or design their canvas how they please. Once they are ready to go…..let the painting begin!!!
Out of both our families there is only one girl. So we were pretty excited that she chose a unicorn. But my 3 boys of course chose baseball themes. Katie’s little boys chose a dinosaur and bow and arrow!
Once completely dry pull of vinyl or tape and Wha-La, you have a child inspired/creative art piece for your home!!They turned out amazing.A special thanks to Toni over at Design Dazzle for having us apart of her Summer Camp Series. Check out her blog and check out some other great summer ideas!!
