A few years back my husband and I started the Dave Ramsey cash system and we were able to achieve really good success with it. We paid off all our debt (we didn’t own a home at the time) and had money in savings. For one reason or another we stopped doing it and somehow ended up back in debt. I would say the main reason this happened is because we quit having our weekly Money Meetings.
We decided that 2018 was the perfect time to get back on track with our finances. We have a good size list of projects and adventures that we want to do this year meaning that we need to be more intentional with our money. I decided that I wanted to cuter envelopes than the standard white ones. So I made up these adorable envelopes using my Cricut Maker. I saved the DESIGN with some blank envelopes so that you can customize it to your needs. I also did that because I know in the future I will be making more envelopes.I wanted these envelopes to be pretty sturdy so I needed to use a high quality heavy paper. But I also wanted them to be cute. I used the Sweet Soiree Specialty Designer Series Paper from Stampin’ Up. Each 12″x12″ paper makes one envelope. Stampin’ Up’s paper is heavy enough with out it being to hard to fold. It is the perfect paper for this project. I used the Fast Fuse for assembling the envelopes. Fast Fuse is my favorite adhesive.I keep my envelopes in this little coupon book and I put a Dave Ramsey quote on the front of it to help remind me why I am doing this and encourage me to stick with it.2018 is all about me being more intentional with my life. And this will help me be more intentional with my money.
